Nigeria's Economy has been struggling to catch up with that of other developing countries and this is as a result of so many negative factors that has been forced on the Economy. A country with 73% of its budget on recurrent expenditure and only 27% on capital expenditure do not encourage progress and development.
So the Task laid into the hands of The Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala might seem too herculean for her to handle as the system has already deteriorated so badly that she would need to bend and search for a solution from scratch to the lingering economic problems of the nation.
The Removal of the Fuel Subsidy is one of the methods she thinks we can start fixing the economy as its believed that much money that should have been channeled into other areas of the Budget is being looted all in the name of Fuel Subsidy. If removed will help relieve the Economy of some of these problems.
The System here is quite different from that seen in the World Bank but lets Hope and pray that Her little inputs will help to at least keep the Economy Alive.
